About Us

Welcome to Maker Party. The Maker Party is a contemporary political party that is aligned with the maker movement

The maker culture is a subculture representing a technology-based extension of DIY culture that intersects with hacker culture (which is less concerned with physical objects as it focuses on software) and revels in the creation of new devices as well as tinkering with existing ones. The maker culture in general supports open-source hardware. Typical interests enjoyed by the maker culture include engineering-oriented pursuits such as electronicsrobotics3-D printing, and the use of computer numeric control tools, as well as more traditional activities such as metalworkingwoodworking, and, mainly, its predecessor, traditional arts and crafts. The subculture stresses a cut-and-paste approach to standardized hobbyist technologies, and encourages cookbook re-use of designs published on websites and maker-oriented publications.[1][2] There is a strong focus on using and learning practical skills and applying them to reference designs.[3] There is also growing work on equity and the maker culture.

The Maker Party is a place for makers of all kinds to connect with each other. We believe Educators and artists can work together; for activists to trade ideas with coders; and for entrepreneurs to chat with makers. It’s a place to network, innovate and make a difference.

This year (2024), we’ll come together with this same spirit, and also with a mission — to launch candidates who understand modern technology, improve regulations, break up big tech monopolies, challenge outdated copyright laws that stifle American creativity and innovation.

The Maker Party believes climate change is real, that humanity’s impact on the environment can be minimized, that clean technology and clean energy will make new jobs, while we make corporate polluters responsible for their pollution, creating End to end jobs that use science to optimize each industries environmental footprint. This method basically aims to replicate real world environmental  scenarios so that we can plan for any impact that may occur.
